The Illuminatus! Trilogy
The Illuminatus! Trilogy is a strange book, a very strange book indeed. It involves one major conspiracy, several political topics such as assassinations, war, and political conventions, jumping around in time, murder, sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Basically, it's a pretty messed up book that can be hard to follow and screw with your mind. However, don't let this deter you. It really is a great book. If you decide to read it, you may want to buy your own copy so that you can read it again and understand it better.
At The "Official" Robert Anton Wilson Website you can check out excerpts from several of the author's books such as Schroedinger's Cat (which is supposed to be along the same lines as Illuminatus! from what I hear). Also, you can find links to Discordian pages by going there or by reading further down on this page.
Another site that deals with the Illuminati and some of the concepts in The Illuminatus! Trilogy is the Yo! Impropaganda Networks Homepage. Don't be fooled by Illuminati Online, it's actually just an Internet Service Provider (ISP) but you can check it out if you want.
Another cool book I read recently was The Illuminati by Larry Burkett. From the back cover, "The year is 2001 and the world is on the brink of economic collapse as the Illuminati, a deadly secret organization, succeeds in placing one of their people in the office of the presidency of the United States, gaining control of world events." It's an excellent read and it will definitely keep you on your toes!
If you're interested in Discordia, then you may want to check out this stuff about Discordia and Hyperdiscordia. Also, you can find out why some believe that the Microsoft Corp. is the New Front for the Illuminati or what they have to say about J.R.R. Tolkein by checking out the Illuminati Documents. For a larger list of Illuminati and Discordian related information, check out the Discordia/Illuminati Sub-Page.
Before going there however, you may want to check this site that claims to represent the Illuminati, The Illuminati (this one seems to be a big joke). Of course, there are so many branches of the Illuminati that they could all be right and none of the others would know it.
